The dinner was delicious, after their meal Trina said her goodbye to Laila and started walking off to her home. While she was wondering the streets, she started to think about the game they were playing. It sort of draws you to the game, the different functions, options and the colours and the sorts of things you can do create. Trina never knew she would be a gamer of any sort, but somehow this game really perked her interest a little so she decided to make an account for herself when she went home.
As she arrived home, the house was silent. No one was home, so it seemed like a lonely night, until there was a little crashing noise coming from the kitchen which startled Trina. She rushed over to her kitchen and noticed a smashed glass on the floor near the counter; beside it was her mum leaning against the countertop with shaking hands.
"Mum!" Trina shrieked in panic and rushed over to her mum, "what are you doing mum? You know you shouldn't be out of bed." Trina started to help her mum over to the living room next to the kitchen and sat her on the sofa. "Mum, what were you trying to do?"
"I was just trying to get a glass of water dear, it's not so bad, it's not like I was trying to make my own meal or something." Her mother replied with a nonchalant attitude,
"Mum, you know you aren't supposed to get out of bed or do anything on your own without some help. I know you mean well but please try not push yourself. Your arthritis is quite severe, it's not going to help your condition if you think it will just go away."
"Yes, yes dear, I'll behave. Can you help to my bed?" Trina smiled and nodded.
Once she put her mum to bed she went over to her room and dived in to her bed swimming in the comfort of her snuggly blanket and fluffy pillow. As she lie on her bed, her mind started to wonder about her mum's health, about her school and then it drifted back to the game. It just made Trina want to make an account and explore the game a little more. Trina jumped off her bed and went over to her desk where her laptop was. She opened it up and before doing anything else she went and checked her emails like she always does, she had four new emails. The first three was from her subscripctions on health, beauty, and crafts but the last one was from Laila. Trina was curious to know what it was so she opened the email and started to read it's content:
Hey Trina!
Oh my gosh! You have to try out the game girl! It's just so awesome, you will love it so much! I actually think you will like a lot more than me. It's sort of addictive too and I'm already sucked into it >.< You have to join me girl. Also when you do sign up look for my name it's: LingeringLaila
I think this game is really interesting and I think it's pretty cool and release a lot of stress from us from our...erm...you know...homework..
So anyways let me know when you join because I really want you to join and it will be fun.
Take care
Laila xoxo
After reading the email, Trina smiled to herself thinking that Laila understands and knows Trina too well; because Laila realises that Trina would be intrigued by this sort of thing and she would actually have a go and most certainly would make an account too.

Typical Virtual World - Chapter 3
Both Laila and Trina looked at the screen thinking what this pop-up was. The friendly looking man on the screen was doing a celebration dance to congratulate Laila on being the 10,000th user. Both of them had no idea what they were getting themselves into it was something that will just draw you nearer to the game.
"Check the gift," Trina said, "I mean that is what you would do when they give you a gift." Laila nodded in agreement and scrolled over towards the small looking bag on the bottom left of her screen. There was a glowing light on the bag indicating that there was something inside and a big finger was pointing at it with a speech bubble above saying "You have a new gift, click here to check it out!" It was so eye catching that it would just make you do just that - Click on it!
Once Laila clicked the bag the friendly looking man appeared again wearing some very casual clothes with a very big speech bubble covering the whole screen:

"Wow! That's a lot of information," Laila said taking one glance at the speech. She read through the instructions and guidelines and continued with the game. The gift tab was flashing showing that Laila received a gift. She clicked on the tab and there was an image of a blue present wrapped in a lighter share blue ribbon. Laila clicked on the present and out burst a glowing gold bracelet. The intricate design on the bracelet looked amazing and very rare.
"Wow!" Trina said, "that looks amazing!"
"Yeah! It really does I wonder what it does," Laila said curiously as she clicked on the item. Laila's avatar out the bracelet on and there was a jingle noise as a gold aura took over her avatar. A popup appeared and it said how the bracelet was a very very very rare item and worth a lot. It allows the user to be 100% protected from any damages and it was a powerful attacking tool too as well as provides feeds and enhantments to at creatures owned by the avatar.
Laila and Trina was so intrigued by the game that they didn't realise that Laila's mum came into the room.
"What's going on here?" Laila's mum asked, both the girls jumped in surprise.
"Oh mum, we were just playing a game that's all,"
"Oh that is nice. Well dinner is ready so don't be on that for too long and come on down," both the girls stomach grumbled.
"We'll come now!" They both said, and Laila closed the game and went running down with Trina for dinner.

Quick Update
Hey everyone! :)
Just wanted to make a quick announcement. As you know I am working on 3 different stories (2 collabs and 1 of my own) well I have a few things I need to mention about each one:
The Lost Truth: (Collab)
~ Ok so my collab work with this story is going really well! :) I'm enjoying it and having a lot of creative ideas from it too! :D I like how the story is leading so far and I hope you all enjoy it too ^^
~ The announcement for this is the there will be a weekly release of this chapter :) As I feel that it will be too much preassure for both of us. I personally wish that I could do more but I think this is more reasonable and also given my health and other situation I think this would be the best thing at the moment.

Typical Virtual World - Chapter 2 (by Leah)
The girls looked at each other with that determined look they shared since they were young.
Laila entered her personal information into the boxes provided,
and with a deep breath, clicked 'join in'. Neither of them knew the
weight of her decision then, but a weight filled the atmosphere even so.
'Can't be completely bad' Lailia shrugged, 'lets see what this place
has to offer'
Options for her avatar popped up.
'hair,
eyes, mouth, nose, face shape, body shape; apple, hourglass, pear,
triangle.' The options were unending - by the time Lailia was through
changing her virtual representative, she was amazed.
'That actually looks like you!' exclaimed Trina
'I know, right!' Laila couldn't hide her surprise while she spoke. 'You try, Trina!'
'I
think I'll wait a while and see how you get on first' she wrinkled her
nose a little, 'I'm not too sure if I can be bothered today. Besides,
you can try the first few levels and give me some pointers later.'
They laughed and shrugged off the game for a bit, letting their conversation trail off to what they got up to that day.
'I have so much homework to do today. Like how can our teachers expect so much from us!' complained Laila, 'I just want to get one day to myself where I can worry about
nothing. Maybe think about the way the clouds move from one part of the
planet to the other'
'Your a dreamer you are, Laila, you give a whole new meaning to the saying about having your head in the clouds'
More laughter, it's what they do best. Laugh. It
takes away the worries of life for that one moment in time. Especially in places of hope
where they didn't know they needed it.
Brrrriiingggg. A loud buzz came out of the laptop.
'What was that?' Trina shuddered
a popup opened up on
their screen: 'Welcome to THE OTHER WORLD' an animated character boomed,
'You are the new recruit! Prepare yourself, you are about to experience
the time of your life.' It's face was contrastingly friendly compared
to the voice. Neither Trina nor Lalia knew what to think of it. 'you are
the 10 thousandth user! and for this reason, you have been chosen to be
gifted with this....'
Lalia's eyes widened...
Not that she understood the significance of what had just happened.

Typical Virtual World - Chapter 1 (Collab with Leah)
Laila and Trina were both walking on the street of Cally, the summer but
breezy weather felt soothing as they both were talking about one of those
uncomfortable situation. Laila's sister was planning to run away with her
boyfriend because of her unjustly parents.
Laila and Trina were both very understanding and down to earth girls. They were two inseparable friends that you'd mistaken them for sisters rather than best friends. Neither of them were rude or annoying and surprisingly they never fought with each other either. They both have each others back in the rough time and in the good times. So clearly right now was the perfect situation where Trina would help but at the same time Laila was uncomfortable because she felt she was being self centred talking about her troubles.
"Laila, we've known each other since we were children. Nothing you'll ever say to me would seem troublesome. Girl, you know I love helping people so why wouldn't I jump for the chance of helping you?" It's true, Trina was the type to give and help others and always supported her friends and strangers. She's so helpful but at the same time wouldn't want to share anything negative with anyone whether it was about herself or someone else.
Laila always respects and looks up to Trina a lot, they both have infinite respect for each other and Laila views Trina as more of an older sister than a best friend, even more so then her actual sister.
"She's really angry and upset with mum and dad, I just don't want her to do anything stupid or something that she will regret." Laila said with concern.
"You know Laila, I think it's time for us to have a word with Ella, she just wants to be heard that's all and I think she feels like she's not getting what she wants." Trina advised Laila, she smiled and said,
"I think you're right Trina, we need to talk to her," Trina nodded and smiled back, "You're the best Trina! You always know what to say and when."
"Not really," Trina blushed and Laila started to laugh,
"I see you're blushing, that's good," Laila said and hey both started to laugh.
Laila and Trina both went to Laila's house after the decision of meeting with Ella, Laila's older sister. When they arrived at the house, it was completely quiet, as though it was an abandoned, but well groomed, house. The hallway was very narrow but had a sense of homely feel to it. Having really natured looking sceneries of forests and mountains canvases hanging on either side of the walls, and two doors to the left of the wall; one leading to the kitchen and the other leading to the bathroom. On the right side was the staircase leading to the bedrooms and another bathroom. The lights hanging from the ceiling brightened the room as though the lighting reflected was the same that you would find in art galleries. Right at the end of the hall was the living room.
The living room was very cosy and warm, the pictures hanging on the wall of beautiful meadows and forests complimented the subtle furnitures spread across the room. As soon as you entered the room, the natural light seeping through, what seems to be, French windows brightened the area. The windows were surrounded by mint green curtains, on the right side of the room, there was arched walls with built in shelves full of all sorts of ornamentals from miniature art decorations to small picture frames of tiny sceneries. On the left side was a more wide spread area with the TV hanging off the wall, opposite it was the dark green sofa with a small table lamp beside it on what looked to be an antique looking end table. There were plants in the room too but not too many of it either, just a few scattered across the room near the French looking windows. The walls were painted in a very light sort of green and the floor was covered with white wood. The first impression, if anyone entered this room for the first time, would be the word calming and a place where you wouldn't want to leave.
Laila and Trina headed towards the living room, where they found Ella sitting on the sofa crying.
"Big sis!" Laila said with concern and both Laila and Trina rushed over to her to comfort her. "What's the matter? Why are you crying for?"
"It's mum and dad," said Ella tearily. Her voice was trembling and you can see and feel the hurt she's going through just by hearing her voice. "Why? Why can't they let me marry him? He's changed you know," she said trying her best to convince them both.
"We know, so don't worry so much," said Trina, while comforting her. "You know Ella, I think it would be wise if you just took your time with this because you don't want to rush into anything and your parents are probably thinking the same which is why they didn't want you to marry him straight away."
"You think so?" Ella asked for reassurance from her sister.
"Yeah I truly think so," Laila smiled at her and then hugged her.
After a little more consoling, Ella was convinced by both Laila and Trina, to take things slowly. Then, the two girls went over to Laila's room to just hang out. Once you entered Laila's room one of the two words that would pop in to your head: nature or green. Laila's family really loved anything to do with nature so they decided on keeping their house consistent with the theme. Laila loved the nature, she had the theme plastered all around her room it felt like the perfect meadow but indoors. It was very soothing, the walls were the same mint colour as the curtains in the living room. She had on large landscape view of a beautiful forest like scenery hanging opposite her bed. There was a light wooden coloured desk with a laptop and little messages on the wall just below the picture frame. The bed opposite was very fluffy and big and had a very delicate looking floral design over the bed covers. Just as you entered the room, there are three very long but slim looking windows with a window seat all around the arched wall. The bed was centred in the middle of the room with lamps on either side. On the left side of the door there was a little dressing table in the colour of the the desk. Beside the desk was a wardrobe that was also in the same colour.
When Laila and Trina entered the room, Laila turned on her laptop and they started to talk while they were waiting for it to load.
"I'm glad big sis decided to take things slow," Laila smiled.
"Yeah me too," Trina said, "Although I thought she would need a lot more convincing then that though," she said with a little concern.
"Yeah, at first I thought that too but I think she sort of understands that she needs to wait a little while." After a little while Laila's laptop was loaded and they decided to check out their social media as usual, "I'm a little bored," said Laila. Trina took a look at her laptop and then noticed an ad of a game on the side of her screen.
"Hey Laila, what's that?" Laila turned around to look at it with a curious face.
"I have no clue but it does look interesting doesn't it?" Laila clicked on the add, "What's The Other World?"
"I have no idea, seems to me like a game, it looks interesting though, how about you make an account."
Laila and Trina were both very understanding and down to earth girls. They were two inseparable friends that you'd mistaken them for sisters rather than best friends.
